Towards the end of the film, the entire crops that Jacob harvested get caught on fire. Jacob and Monica physically throw themselves into the fire to try and save the last bits of crops. They lost everything in their possession, endeavoring over a sign of hope. Using a seed as a framing device, I visualize the process of growth in the film when Jacob and Monica try to save their last bits of crops in a fire showing a strand of hope.
